Why Use a Classic Razor?
For a lot of men the number one reason for doing so is the cost savings associated with safety razor shaving. Using a classic razor with a double edge blade is much cheaper than using a cartridge type razor. There is an initial investment required to purchase the razor but after that, the blade cost is minimal. For others, saving money is just a bonus since a single blade razor is also much better for your skin.
Anyone who has ever suffered from razor bumps, redness or irritation after using a cartridge razor could benefit greatly by making the switch. The difference is amazing, almost magical! The truth is, even a single bladed Bic disposable is more forgiving on your skin than a multi bladed cartridge razor. The simplest things are always the best.
