The Lord LP1822 (also known as the Lord L6) is Lord's premium model, featuring a 3 piece design with a nice and heavy chrome head. Weighing in at a modest 1.7 ounces, the razor has a long textured aluminum handle for that all important good grip. These razors are modestly priced but are wonderful shavers.

Similar to the Merkur 34C, the LP1822 has just the right amount of blade exposure ie: it's not overly mild or aggressive. This makes it perfectly suited for anybody looking for a great DE Shaver, beginners or pros alike. Given the price point, one might think of the Lord as a cheap throwaway or as only being suitable for travel duties, but this is not the case. The weight / fit & finish may not be up to Merkur or Edwin Jagger's standards but that does not take away from the performance of this fine, budget friendly razor.

prosVery well made for the price, gives a great shave
contThe balance might be off for some, with the head being heavier than the (aluminum) handle

This was my first DE razor and it is a Great Introductory razor at a Great Price. A Very Forgiving razor … makes learning Wet Shaving a lot easier than most other DE razors on the market.

Lightweight, not aggressive, not a great finish … but a Definite Buy!

It was OK, maybe not as good as the weishi or old vintage models, it might be the lord razor blade, but I will try other blades.
